What is FriSem?
Friday Seminar, aka FriSem, is a seminar series in Stanford Psychology for the cognitive and neuroscience areas. Students, researchers, faculty members, and other invited speakers present about their research. Topics usually span cognitive science and neuroscience, but often also intersect with artificial intelligence, statistics, developmental psychology, and philosophy. Presentations last for about 1 hour, followed by 15 minutes of Q&A.
We generally meet on Fridays at 3:15PM – 4:30PM in Jordan Hall, Room 050. However, due to Covid-19, we will be meeting through Zoom until further notice. We will be sending out links through our mailing list. To join our mailing list, please visit https://mailman.stanford.edu/mailman/listinfo/frisem-mailinglist.
